We offer Relay Test Blocks of series NWRTP-01. NWRTP-01 Test Plug when inserted into the Test Block it is securely retained by means of 2 nos. knuurled knobs. Shorting wire links are also provided with the NWRTP - 01 test block.


Accessories Provided :
4 Nos. 150 mm long cable consisting of 4 mm plugs at both ends
4 Nos. 50 mm long cable consisting of 4 mm Plugs at both ends.
6 Nos. 4 mm plugs which accepts flexible insulated cable upto 2.5 mm2 tor test lead purposes.
Test Plug. Series NWRTP-02 : This is a single finger Test Plug that can be inserted into individual test positions as shown in figure # 1. NWRTP-02 consists of two contacts which are insulated from one another. Each contact is connected to a lead wire. For polarity identification, one core is red and the other black. Each NWRTP-02 Test Plug is provided with 1.0 mm2-twln flexible cable of 1.5 metre length.

It withstands high voltage. For NWRTS-01/NWRTS-02/NWRTS-03/NWRTS-04 --- 2.5 k V rms for 1 minute between all case terminals connected together and the case earth terminal. For NWRTP-01/ NWRTP-02 -- 2 k V rms for 1 minute between incoming and outgoing contacts when inserted. It also withstands high current.For NWRTS-01/ NWRTS-02 / NWRTS-03/ NWRTS-04 – All All contact circuits are rated for 20 A continuous or 300A for 1s, AC or DC.For NWRTP-01/ NWRTP-02 -- All contacts are rated for 20Acontinuous.

It also has a varied temperature range. For storage and transit -25 degree Celsius to + 70 degree Celsius. For operating -- -25 degree Celsius to – 50 degree Celsius. Humidity tested for 56 days at 90% RH & + 40 degree Celsius. These plugs are also called as PMTB 14 IEC Test Blocks & Plugs in some parts of the world.

Nelster Relay Test Blocks

Relay Test Blocks facilitates easy in-situ, onload testing of relays, metering and control panels without disrupting load circuit. The housing is robust, high grade phenolic moulding. The terminals are brass, duly nickle plated. The contacts are spring loaded, silver plated and supported by phosphor bronze strips. Each contact is separated with a SRBP shroud. Screws are provided at the rear for terminations. Alternatively, studs with nuts and washers could also be provided.
Sealing holes on cover studs are provided to prevent unauthorized access. The front cover can be removed for test purpose and replaced, thereafter. This cover is fitted with a silver plated contact finger to close the trip contact, when inserted. Otherwise, the trip contact would remain open. Thus the contact finger on the cover, completes the entire circuit. Isolation of the trip circuit is feasible by removing the contact finger fitted to cover thus avoiding unwarranted tripping under test conditions.
